How the Blog started

During our Stockholm weekend trip I started documenting and narrating our travel together, as a way to catalogue our memories and experiences in one place. Throughout time I know I am going to be so pleased with myself for having started this blog and find a meaning to it.

Thoughts on AI

Our posts are 100% written by us. I sometimes feel like a local artisan still working manually to create something original and authentic, while the rest of the industry has moved forward with machinery and efficiency. I could easily ask AI to create a blog post on a city we have visited in a matter of minutes, instead of putting my energy and time in writing something, but would the AI post be authentic? Or would it go and take information from other blog posts and internet pages, and standardize it in one common AI voice? Would it have a different narrating style from mine? Would the thoughts be my own?

Don’t get me wrong, I am not totally against the use of AI as long as there remains some authenticity, uniqueness, and author traceability. For now, I am happy to create my own work.
